The Regional Joint Assessment Program helps people with hip and knee joint problems. There are two clinic locations in Hamilton. You will be notified which clinic you are to attend. For more information on the clinic locations, go to the Contact Us page. Who will see me ? You will be seen by members of the health care team:

What will happen when I get there?
Members of the team will:
- review your medical history
- ask you some questions about your health
- ask you to complete some tests to see how well you can move your hip or knee and what causes your pain.
- discuss treatment options and come up with a plan to help you.
What to bring with you:
- Your health card
- A list from your pharmacy of all the medications that you take
- A list of all herbal, over the counter medications and vitamins you take
- One friend or family member that will be able to help you with all the information that you will be given
The team will discuss treatment options that may help you and then come up with a plan for you.
To all patients
Please wear comfortable shoes and loose fitting comfortable clothes with no metal clips, zippers or snaps. Plan to spend about 2 hours at your appointment.
